The Española Valley High School staff and faculty—in collaboration 
         with  parents and community—are dedicated to the academic, 
         emotional, social and physical development  of each student. Students 
         develop personal skills, responsibility, independence, a positive attitude,
         an interest in education, and  the necessary skills for life-long learning.  
         A holistic approach which encompasses cultural diversity, varied learning
         environments, and opportunities for personal growth is used. Emphasis is 
         placed on improving those skills that enable students to assume 
         responsibilities of citizenship in our community and society.
